Set high on the slope of the Ville de Nant, a peaceful hameau between the lively ski resorts of Chatel and La Chappelle d'Abondance, La Ferme du Nant takes pride of place. This beautiful, charming old farmhouse, which once housed cattle in the winter, now offers our clients the luxury, comfort and spaciousness, which can only be found in properties of this nature.
The focus for a holiday at La Ferme is on relaxation and flexibility, and this is reflected in everything we do.
In the morning you start your day with a refreshing glass of fresh orange juice and choice of cooked or continental breakfast, whilst your skis and boots are loaded into the Land Rover for you. You are driven to the slopes and guided around the vast ski area of the Portes du Soleil. We offer a comprehensive ski compainion service 5 days a week. We also pre book restaurants for lunch so that you can all meet up and swap stories. At the end of the day you are driven back to La Ferme.
Your evening begins with drinks and canapés served in the large sitting room, which has panoramic views across the Mont de Grange nature reserve. This is followed by a 4-course gourmet evening meal complete with wines chosen by our sommelier.
Our spacious dinning room can comfortably accommodate our guests at the table and once dinner is finished why not move into one the DVD loft.
Or retire to your room. We have 5 en-suite bedrooms all of which can have either twin beds or king-size doubles thanks to the ingenious design of the beds. Two of these rooms are family bedrooms with additional full size bunk beds, and all rooms can have extra beds if necessary.
At la Ferme du Nant our team of staff, from the chef to the ski companion, are on hand to help you make the most of your holiday. Whether you have particular dietary requirements, can only travel on certain days, or have any special requests we will do our best to accommodate them.
